Second, the technical characteristics

1. The speed regulation efficiency is high, which belongs to the high-efficiency speed regulation mode.

2. The speed regulation range is wide, generally up to 20:1, and has high speed regulation efficiency in the whole speed regulation range. Therefore, frequency conversion speed regulation is suitable for occasions where the speed regulation range is wide and often runs under low load conditions.

3. The mechanical characteristics are relatively hard. When there is no automatic control, the speed change rate is below 5%; when automatic control is used, it can perform high-precision operation and control the speed fluctuation rate at about 0.5%|~1%.

4. In case of failure of the frequency conversion device, it can be withdrawn from operation and directly powered by the power grid, and the pump or fan can continue to operate.

5. It can also be used as a starting device, that is, start the motor to a certain speed through the variable frequency power supply, and then disconnect the variable frequency power supply, the motor can be directly connected to the power frequency power supply to accelerate the pump or fan to full speed. When the variable frequency power supply is switched to the industrial frequency power supply, an inrush current is generally generated, the grid voltage drops instantaneously, and the motor is mechanically impacted. In order to prevent the occurrence of this phenomenon, a starting reactor can be connected in parallel between the motor and the power frequency power supply to suppress the generation of inrush current during starting. If the prime mover is a synchronous motor, "synchronous switching" is required.
