1) Induction heat treatment is the development direction of heat treatment process

The equipment has a high degree of mechanization and automation. Modern induction hardening equipment has been arranged in cold and hot processing production lines or automatic production lines. Therefore, there are advantages such as high productivity.
②The effect of quenching and strengthening of heat treatment is remarkable, the deformation of heat treatment is small, the allowance of subsequent processing is reduced, and the effect of energy saving and consumption reduction is achieved.
2) Induction heat treatment is the most energy-saving heat treatment method
Due to the progress of heat treatment induction equipment, the energy saving effect of induction heat treatment is obvious, and it is the most economical and energy-saving heat treatment method.

Taking the semi-shaft of Jiefang brand automobile as an example, the residual compressive stress on the surface of the semi-shaft after quenching and tempering treatment is 245-343MPa, and the residual compressive stress on the surface of the semi-shaft quenched by intermediate frequency induction is 343-539MPa. Under the action of torque 7811k m, the former The fatigue torsion life of the new one is (18.96~42.3)×104 times, and the latter is (112~300)×104 times, which is increased by 6 to 7 times. The fatigue strength of the former is 162.68MPa, and that of the latter is 311.64MPa, and the fatigue strength has increased by 92%. Therefore, it is widely used in production.
4) Induction heat treatment is a clean heat treatment: Due to the development of quenching medium, induction quenching can use water-soluble medium instead of oil cooling medium for quenching, and water quenching, or even air cooling quenching, can achieve a fume-free environment.
5) Induction heat treatment can realize local heat treatment, replace local quenching in salt bath furnace, reduce pollution and improve environmental quality.
