Two quenching methods of high frequency quenching machine

Jan 18, 2022

The high-frequency quenching machine adopts induction heating technology, which not only has fast heating speed, low energy consumption, but also does not pollute the environment. It is a new type of heating equipment that replaces flame furnace heating. It can be seen that it is an environmentally friendly and energy-saving quenching equipment with high efficiency and low energy consumption.

There are two methods of induction heating and quenching: simultaneous heating and quenching and sequential continuous heating and quenching. The content is as follows:

1. Heating method

1. Sequential and continuous: It is to heat a small part of the surface of the workpiece by induction, and the workpiece is moved from top to bottom, which is conducive to achieving the effect of sequential and continuous heating and cooling of the surface.

If the surface area of the quenched parts is large, it is recommended that you use continuous heating for quenching because of the influence of the power of the high-frequency quenching equipment.

2. Simultaneous heating: the surface of the workpiece that needs to be quenched is heated at the same time, and then rapidly cooled.

If we need to produce small batches and multi-variety parts, because different materials may need to use different quenching methods and quenching media, it is recommended to use the method of simultaneous heating.

2. In order to ensure the quality of processing, please pay attention to the following methods:

1. When we design and manufacture this kind of inductor (using copper tube to be bent into a spiral shape), please try to use a copper tube with a larger diameter and reduce the number of turns, which is conducive to reducing the inductive reactance and ensuring high-frequency quenching Equipment heating efficiency.

2. In order to greatly reduce power loss and ensure power requirements, it is recommended that you pay attention to the distance between the inductor and the workpiece of the high-frequency quenching machine should be as small as possible
