Comparison of energy saving between high frequency heating equipment and medium frequency heating equipment
Induction heating equipment is divided into: low frequency induction heating, medium frequency induction heating, super audio induction heating, high frequency induction heating and ultra-high frequency induction heating. Among them, the medium frequency induction heating method is mostly used for larger workpieces, and the high frequency induction heating method is mostly used for deep heating of small workpieces, their heating method is the same, but the frequency is different, so the energy-saving comparison between the high frequency heating equipment and the medium frequency heating equipment
High frequency heating and medium frequency heating have their own advantages and disadvantages in different situations.
1. High-frequency heating
High frequency heating because of the high working frequency, the heat energy is concentrated on the surface, and the heating speed is fast, the heating efficiency is high, and the temperature uniformity is good. However, its disadvantage is that it is only suitable for superficial heating and cannot be processed deep.
2. Medium frequency heating
Medium frequency heating because of low working frequency, can achieve deep heating, suitable for forming bad heating, quenching, annealing and so on. Medium frequency heating can heat a large cross-section of the workpiece, while ensuring the heating effect, but also to obtain a uniform temperature distribution. However, the disadvantage of intermediate frequency heating is that the heating speed is relatively slow and the energy consumption is more.
Based on the above analysis and comparison, we can find that mid-frequency heating is more energy-efficient than high-frequency heating, especially in the case of frequent operation. However, in the case of high-speed shallow heating, high-frequency heating is more advantageous.
