Two Necessary Parameters For Air Cooler Selection
Aug 14, 2023
Each standard air cooler product has a corresponding performance curve, and the user selects the model according to the curve, based on two necessary parameters:
First, the actual traffic.

Second, the equivalent cooling power, also known as proportional cooling power. Therefore, neither of these two parameters is known, or only one of them is known, and it is impossible to accurately select the air cooler. This is risky for users. We often tell them that the core parameters are not enough to recommend suitable products. Because choosing a big one or a small one will cause waste. Therefore, it is very necessary for users or manufacturers to figure out these two parameters of the air cooler.

There is a simple calculation formula for you to estimate the heat dissipation of the system according to the inlet and outlet oil temperature of the air cooler,
Pv≈0.028×L×(T in-T out)
T in: hydraulic oil inlet temperature (°C)
T out: hydraulic oil outlet temperature (°C)
Pv: heat dissipation (kw)
L: oil flow rate (l/min)
